
Annette came to RHWC with severe and chronic neck and shoulder pain resulting from a serious car accident in 2003. With the care of a team of physicians, her personal trainer and the supportive staff at RHWC, Annette has regained her old self. This class is intended for those with impaired joint movement. Participants should be able to walk and/or do a moderate job comfortably in the pool. The program includes exercises to improve the participants overall function and performance of daily tasks, mobility, gait, independence, flexibility, balance and coordination. Participants should be comfortable with moderate levels of water movement. Noodles may be used for flotation. The components of the basic program are warm up, joint range of motion for flexibility & strength, endurance, active stretch and relaxation. Increase cardiovascular health while using water resistance to tone and define your body. Great for those just starting a fitness program.

Our yoga instructor, Lisa Klirinomos, teaches a vinyasa-based yoga integrates alignment, breathing,strength and fluid movement with intuition and compassion. This form of Hatha yoga creates a moving meditation through which the student can discover how to feel balanced, centered and coordinated while increasing flexibility and stamina. Lisa's journey of self discovery began 20 years ago with the study and practice of meditation. This study evolved when she discovered yoga which provided discipline and grounding for her inner journey. She has traveled across the country and abroad to study with many gifted teachers: Eric Shiffman, Sarah Powers, Baron Batiste and David Life to name a few. Lisa has earned multiple certifications in advanced training and various yoga styles. Now, in the tradition of yoga, Lisa shares her knowledge and experience with her students at the Roseville Health and Wellness Center. After over a decade of dedicated study and practice, she will guide you on your own journey to self discovery.
"Fitball I" introduces exercise and stretching on the exercise ball. This class is for beginners or for people who have a ball and home and do not know what to do with it. Fitball I emphasizes good posture and balance in order to build strength in the core muscles. Exercises include functional body weight exercises, as well as strengthening using free-weight and bands. Whether one is lacking core control or needs to strengthen an old low-back injury, exercises on the ball are the first step to laying a firm foundation for your spine and limbs.

This running program offers expert advice and motivational tools. The program is packed with fun and energizing activities designed to help you reach your fitness and running goals. Participants of this program are eligible to compete in running groups and RH&WC team competitions.
Participants join a team, where they compete at losing weight. Each team has a Personal Trainer who meets with the team 5 times a week for group sessions and weekly weigh-ins. Each person receives a journal to document their food intake, workouts and weight loss. Accountability is strictly enforced via weekly meetings and emails.

The Diabetes and Exercise Program is a 4-part series designed to calculate and empower individuals with diabetes. Registered Dietitian and Personal Trainer, Christy Woodward, tailors each session to the individual's needs and covers such topics as: meal planning, how to control blood sugars, eating out, healthy snacks and exercise. Not only does the individual come away with lots of information and useful handouts, but he/she also receives a personalized exercise program to get them started physically. Roseville Health and Wellness Center (RHWC) is committed to combating this pressing threat to the health of our nation’s children and families. RHWC is now offering a 3-week comprehensive program focusing on Nutrition, Fitness and Wellness Coaching. Our goal is to educate and empower children and teens to take action to prevent these diseases before they occur. Your child will meet a nutritionist, personal trainer and wellness coach in a group setting.
