Roseville Health and Wellness Center

I've lost 15 pounds overall and am on track to lose more. I am in unbelievable better physical condition. Some of us "regulars" in the morning class started what we call the” morning mile” to our routine. We come in before class and run/walk a mile together! . A year ago, I couldn't run two blocks without painful shin splints.

Roseville Health and Wellness Center

Members have access to the full-sized heated pool in the Aquatic Center. Various classes throughout the day are offered to complement your fitness program and to accommodate your busy schedule. For those members who prefer to work out independently, the pool is available for open use over sixty hours per week.

The indoor salt water pool is heated to provide an environment that is easy on joints while providing an excellent overall body workout. We offer a variety of aqua-aerobic classes, rehabilitation programs, pre-natal exercise and senior exercise classes.

After your workout, leave the stress of the day behind in our luxurious whirlpool spa! Our Aquatic Center makes it easy for you to unwind.

Some of the current Aquatic programs offered are:

  • Aqua Fit
This class is designed to help you increase your cardiovascular health and endurance while using water resistance to tone and define your body. This class is great for all ages, sizes and fitness levels.
  • Senior Aquatics
A 45 minute, low impact class targeting cardiovascular fitness, endurance, strength and flexibility using water resistance. Senior Aquatics is offered to seniors that desire to increase mobility, gain strength, and promote socialization.
  • Arthritis & Fibromyalgia Program
We follow the American Arthritis Foundations guidelines, offering gentle exercise in warm water to help alleviate stress on arthritic joints while still allowing for a productive workout.
  • Pre/Post Natal Exercise
A supervised exercise program in the pool designed to prepare women for the physiological changes that occur during pregnancy and post-partum, to develop stamina and strength for labor and delivery and to restore muscle tone after their baby is born. The classes are also an excellent opportunity to socialize and share experiences with other expecting mothers.

Participants typically experience less physical discomfort, less complicated delivery, and enjoy a quicker recovery.
